Each day, there are a number of appointments released at 8.00am. Patients should ring as close to 8:00am as possible to try and get one of these appointments.
If no appointments are available, patients who are over five years old will be offered telephone advice, where the doctor will give them a call back to discuss their symptoms. Telephone advice times will be advised by the receptionist.
If no appointments are available, patients who are under five years old will be given an emergency appointment and will be seen the same day by a doctor. Emergency appointment times will be advised by the receptionist.
Please ring the surgery and attempt to get an appointment before attending a walk in centre or casualty.
Out of surgery hours emergencies
Only for emergency visits, telephone 0151 228 5868 at night, bank holidays or week-ends. Be prepared for a message on an answering machine with a contact telephone number. Accidents and injuries should be taken to the nearest casualty department.
