Last Updated: Tuesday, 09 January 2024Derby Lane is a GP practice offering our patients high quality, safe and effective care from an appropriately resourced and skilled multi-disciplinary team. We accept new patient registrations from anybody living within our practice boundary.
The surgery website is a most effective way of giving our patients access to help and the latest information 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It contains complete information about all the services we offer. It also details how the practice is organised and introduces our doctors, other medical and administrative staff and describes their various responsibilities.
Our practices operate using a triage system which means our patients are seen by the most appropriate clinician as soon as possible.
Seeing a GP may not always be necessary. Other clinicians (such as our Advanced Clinical Practitioner, Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Practice Nurses, or Clinical Pharmacist) may also be able to help you with your health issue.
When you call to make an appointment our care navigators will ask you the reason for the appointment. They are not being prying. They are trained to triage and direct you to the most appropriate clinician who can diagnose and manage your condition more quickly.
